“Oli d’Italia” is the Gambero Rosso guide dedicated to the best extra virgin olive oils made in Italy. 448 companies and 750 labels enclosed in an experiential journey to discover the fascinating and varied world of Italy’s green gold.

The selection of farms
Since its debut in 2011, the guide has reached its 10th edition this year and its second in two languages, Italian and English (the first was published in 2019).
For each edition, hundreds of farms are involved and participate in careful regional selections; a jury of experts decides for the best ones, in a selection process that is useful for producers, operators in the sector, the business world and consumers, whose awareness of quality extra virgin olive oil is growing year by year.
Visagi is proud to have been selected by the “Oli d’Italia 2020” Guide with our canino monovarietal organic extra virgin olive oil. The aromatic profile outlined in the Guide describes an oil with a unique flavour of artichoke, thistle, almond and pepper, characterized by an intense green colour. Thanks to the great care we take every day to harvest native olives following the rules of the organic process, we have obtained Two Green Leaves out of three. Furthermore, we are truly honoured to have received a certification from the most important publishing house in Italy, a recognized authority on Italian food and wine for respect towards the principles of biodiversity that we have made our own, and which guide us every day.
