Visagi oil awarded by the eleventh national competition “The Gold of Italy 2020”
Visagi oil was awarded 4 out of 5 drops at the eleventh edition of the “L’Oro d’Italia” competition, dedicated to the best Italian extra virgin olive oils.
The sensory profile of the dedicated tab places our oil in the Medium Fruity category – Canino Monocultivar Type – with aromatic hints of almond, grass, aromatic herbs and artichoke.
Its authentic flavour is a story of our native olive trees in the Farnese area, in ancient Etruria. It is right here, among our lands, that the fruits are harvested a few weeks before full ripeness, when they are very fresh and not yet perfectly ripe. This explains the accentuated perfume that makes the oil so unique and authentic, a scent that allowed it to receive 4 out of 5 drops in the prestigious national competition.
